Can I use Earn It app on my Android device?

Currently, the Earn it app is only compatible with iPhones. Other iOS devices, including iPads, are not supported at this time.

Do I have to have an Apple Watch to use Earn It? Can I just use Earn It with my iPhone?

No, you don’t need an Apple Watch to use Earn It, but we recommend it. An Apple Watch offers more ways to track your health and makes reaching your daily targets – and earning Creds – quicker and easier. If you don’t have one, you can get an Apple Watch through options like interest-free financing, using earned Creds, or purchasing outright. Please contact our support team for more information.

Do I need an iPhone to use an Apple Watch?

Yes, it only possible to set up an Apple Watch with an iPhone. The watch must be paired with an iPhone to link an Apple ID.

Do I need to be connected to the internet?

Your activity is tracked offline and syncs with the app when you reconnect. However, you will need an internet connection to make purchases, join workouts, or participate in challenges.

What wearables do you support?

Currently, you can track your activity with an Apple Watch and any other wearable that links to your Apple Health Kit. We’re also working on full integration with Strava, which will enable tracking a wide range of activities from their supported devices. Please contact our support team for more information.

Which models of Apple Watch are compatible with Earn it?

All Apple Watches are compatible with Earn It. While older models may have limited functionality and monitoring features, having any Apple Watch enhances your experience. All current Apple Watches are available through the Earn It store.

Creds

How do I track my Earn It progress?

In the Earn It app, your Creds Clock is divided into four segments: Wellness, Move, Habits, and Exercise. You can view your daily, weekly, and monthly Creds totals at a glance. For detailed stats, past data, and progress maps, tap the ‘Activity’ section.

How do I ‘Check In’ to earn extra Creds?

Head to your 'Track' page and you'll find a 'Check In' button. Just make sure you have location services switched on!

Does it matter if all of my Creds are in one category?

You will only redeem 25% of your monthly Creds allowance per category. So, if you’re looking to maximise your earning potential, it’s important to ensure you’re keeping track of all categories. Most of us are good in one or a few areas, but there may be one section that needs focus. Start small and build up to make the most of a healthy, balanced life.

Do my earned Creds expire?

Absolutely! You’ve got plenty of time. Your earned Creds are valid for two years, so there’s ample opportunity to save up for some of our larger rewards.

How do I earn Creds on the app?

You can earn Creds through a variety of activities within the app, such as:

Feed: Read articles and watch videos from your personalised Feed.

Checking In: Earn Creds by checking into your office.

Joining Challenges: Participate in challenges and earn Creds by successfully completing them.

The more you engage, the more Creds you’ll rack up!

Why do I earn more Creds with an Apple Watch?

The Apple Watch tracks more activity than your iPhone, including heart rate and time spent outdoors, offering even more ways to earn Creds as you stay active. You’ll rack up Creds effortlessly, without even realising it!

Can I overachieve and make up for missed Creds?

Yes, you can! Every month, you can earn a certain amount of Creds per category which are made up of the daily Creds goal per category and the number of days in the month. The daily targets are being adjusted according to the previous progress, so if you exceed your daily goals in the first half of the month, you have to do less in the second half, and vice versa.

If you did not reach your daily Creds goals on some days, you can still make up for that within the same month by overachieving your initial Creds target. If, for example, your daily Creds target was 10,000 per day, and you did nothing for the first 15 days of the month, day 16's Creds target would be 20,000 Creds.

We allow users to over-achieve each day by up to double the value of the daily Creds target (200% up until the monthly target has been reached.

Do Creds that haven't been unlocked carry over to next month?

No, you must earn all of your monthly Creds within that month. Any Creds that haven't been unlocked will not carry over to the following month.

How do I earn Creds?

You can earn Creds in four main ways: 

All indicated in the Creds Clock in the Target tab.

Move 
You’ll earn Creds for your daily steps, staircases climbed and distance-related challenges.  

Wellness  
From yoga and Pilates to mindful meditations and more, you'll earn Creds if you watch or listen to any Wellness content in your Earn It app.  We will shortly be adding breath exercises, time outdoors and lots of other ways to ‘Earn’ your wellbeing target.

Exercise 
You’ll earn Creds for any time you exercise and active calories burned as logged via your Apple Watch or watching video workouts in your Earn It app. Most forms of exercise that raise your heart rate above a brisk walk will be recorded in your exercise target.

Habits 
Checking in at your office location or reading an article in your Earn It app can earn you Creds.  We will soon be releasing ‘Check-in’ to any health or fitness location in the UK, so gyms, cricket clubs, golf courses etc will shortly ‘earn’ you Creds and go towards your habits target.

In fact, everything you do in your Earn It app could earn you Creds – you could refer a friend, check into the office, have a healthy streak for three days, and so much more. We all want you to meet your target and unlock the benefits.We also have 100s of giveaways every month, just for fun; it could be your birthday, an anniversary, or you’ve hit a major goal. So, stay tuned so you do not miss out.

Rewards and Purchases

How do I purchase rewards?

Spending your Earn It Creds on exciting rewards is simple! Just follow these steps:

1 - Open the Earn It app and go to the "Spend" section in the footer.
2 - Browse the products and tap "Add to Cart" for any item you'd like.
3 - Review your cart by selecting the shopping cart icon in the top right of the Spend section.
4 - Apply your Creds to see the final balance decrease.
5 - Complete your purchase at checkout. For any remaining balance, you can use Apple Pay or a credit card.


Enjoy spending your hard-earned Creds!

How long will my order take to arrive?

Each product in our store has different delivery times. You will see the estimated delivery period after adding a product to your shopping cart.Once you have placed an order, you will receive a confirmation from the brand with your confirmation and tracking number.

Is AppleCare+ included in any Apple purchase?

AppleCare+ is not automatically included in an Apple purchase but can be added for any Apple product in our store. AppleCare is available as a separate product in our store and must be added to your cart manually. This must be done at time of purchase and comes at an additional cost, which depends on the product you're purchasing.

Is there a limit to how many products I can purchase with Spendable Creds?

Absolutely not! Once you've got your spendable Creds in your 'Balance', they're yours to use in our store as long as you use them within their three-year expiry window.

Can I return my order?

Our return policy differs depending on the product. To receive information about a specific product's return policy, please get in touch with our Customer Support team.

What can I use my spendable Creds balance on?

You can use your spendable Creds on all products in our store. We already offer a wide range of products and services and are adding more rewards partners every month. If there is something you would like to see and purchase that isn't on offer yet, please let us know via the contact form in your settings or via email at support@youearnit.com.

Can I finance everything from the shop?

Yes, you can choose to finance any item, as long as your total order has a value of £200 or more.

How do I finance my order?

Simply select the finance option at the checkout. The rest of the process will be taken care of by our partner Payl8r, who will approve your financing request as soon as possible.

How fast will my financing request be approved?

Usually, your financing request will be approved within 1 - 2 days.

What if I do not earn enough Creds to pay my monthly financing?

In that case, you can simply pay the outstanding balance directly with Payl8r.

The financing of my order has not yet been approved or has been declined, what can I do?

If you have not received a decision within 2 days, please email the Payl8r support at support@wp-front-prod.payl8r.com. They will come back to you as soon as possible.

How can I contact support?

Do you have a question or feedback for us? We'd love to hear from you! Please go to your profile in the top left corner of the app and navigate to the settings on the top right. There, you can click "Chat now" to start a chat or "Contact us" to fill out a contact form. If you'd like to email us, please do so at support@vouearnit.com. We are happy to help and will get back to you as soon as possible.

All my Creds have disappeared! What should I do?

Don't panic! Head to your profile in the top left corner on the app and re-sync your health data. If the Creds have still not shown, please get in touch with our Customer Support team, who are more than happy to help.

Does the Earn It app need to be open in the background to track my progress?

No, your Apple Watch and iPhone will automatically track your daily steps, staircases climbed, and calories burned, and unlock Creds accordingly.

Does the Earn It app work when I am abroad?

While the Earn It app works internationally, there are some limitations related to HealthKit data updates. When your phone is in a data roaming state, iOS restricts background tasks that update the HealthKit data (step count, exercises) on the Earn It app. To prevent any potential loss of data, here's what you need to know:

Background Updates: The app won't receive HealthKit data updates while running in the background if your device is roaming. This also applies if "Background App Refresh" is disabled in your iOS settings.

Data Retention: Apple stores HealthKit data for up to 42 days on your device. To avoid data loss, connect to a Wi-Fi network or a non-roaming mobile network within this time frame.

To summarise, while the Earn It app does function abroad, ensure you connect to Wi-Fi periodically to maintain seamless HealthKit data syncing.

Will the app register my activity if my iPhone or Apple Watch runs out of battery?

If your device runs out of battery, it will not track any health or activity data, and also not sync it within the Earn It app. To prevent this, make sure your devices are always charged or carry a portable charger with you.

My app hasn't tracked my activity, what can I do?

If you think you're missing some valuable activity from your 'Creds Clock', click on your profile icon in the top left-hand corner of the app and click on 'Sync Health Data'. This should pull any missing data from your HealthKit into the app.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, please remove Earn It's access to your Health data in the settings of your iPhone. Open your iPhone settings, navigate to 'Health', and click on "Data Access & Devices". Once this is done, please close the Earn It app, restart it, and reconnect your HealthKit data in the app.

Please also make sure that "Background App Refresh" is turned on in your iOS settings. If this is disabled, it will prevent the Earn It app from syncing HealthKit data. Alternatively, you can open the 'Health' app, which will also automatically pull all HealthKit data into the Earn It app.

What is my Feed?

Your Feed is a dedicated section in our app featuring a variety of educational articles and motivational exercising videos. It's regularly updated, so you can expect even more exciting content coming soon!

How do I use my Feed to engage with content?

Simply tap on any article you'd like to read to dive right in! For workout videos, click on the one that interests you. If the description catches your eye, select "Start Workout" to begin.

How do I earn Creds using my Feed?

You earn Creds by completing an article or video from your feed. Creds are awarded only when you finish the entire content piece, so make sure to stick with it to the end—no partial Creds are given for incomplete content!

Do I earn the same amount of Creds when I re-watch one of the videos or reread one of the articles?

Yes, you are free to engage with our content as many times as you like and will earn the same amount of Creds each time. We are all creatures of habit, and if you find something you love, please keep doing it. If you feel comfortable, maybe increase the intensity.

How do I start a workout video?

Navigate to your 'Feed' in the footer of the app and start a workout by choosing a workout video and pressing play. Get your sweat on and enjoy the Creds you will have earned by the end of the video.

Challenges

What are challenges? And what's the difference between Individual and Company challenges?

Challenges are a fantastic way to push yourself and have fun while earning thoseCreds. Each challenge has a goal that requires you to hit a specific number of steps or climb a certain amount of flights within a set timeframe— be it a week, a month, or something else.

Individual challenges require you to hit a challenge goal by yourself, while company challenges keep things social; all employees of your company can join the challenge and everyone's activity contributes to reaching the combined company goal.

How do I join challenges?

To join a challenge simply navigate to the 'Challenge' section in the footer of the app and select the challenge you wish to join. Click 'Activate' and all that's left to do is to get active to complete the challenge. Go for it!
